Benny von Bennebo is a striking-looking, 2 year old Shepherd mix.  This sweet boy sports stunning caramel eyes and is ready for a loving and active home where he can continue to grow and learn.  Always trotting outside energetically and eager to explore, by “ready” we mean that Benny is ready to zoom out the door and into your car because he has been here too long. He has watched other dogs exit to their furrever homes, and he does his best to believe that you are out there, waiting to meet him. Are you a hiker? Benny is ready to tackle the steepest trail. Maybe you’re a runner? Benny will match you pace for pace and never stop smiling. You like swimming? So does Benny!   He has a wide open heart and cherishes affection and attention from his people. As many shepherds, he does need proper intro to new people. Being so young, Benny realizes there are better things to come in his future and loves to learn. This outgoing Einstein already knows his “sit” and “down” commands and will even give you his paw for a personable handshake.  Benny loves the company of fellow canines and will prance up to them looking to play.  Benny is a playgroup champion and shows off his social skills even in a pack of 15 dogs! He does well with both male and female dogs, and would be awesome in a home with other energetic and playful furriends. Benny draws the line at cats, as they really don’t appreciate his lively style. He has his bags packed and is ready to join his perfect family.
